Carval Computing Limited has been providing software for Human Resources and Payroll professionals since 1986. Our flexible, easy-to-use, integrated software solutions are relied upon by businesses throughout the UK, including many well-known household names, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.

Our integrated HR Unity software range is developed, distributed and supported in the UK by Carval's own experienced and qualified professional staff. Carval Computing Limited was founded in 1986 in Plymouth, Devon. Our first software solutions were written for the UNIX operating platform. The first module written at that time was a Time & Attendance System closely followed by Payroll and Personnel Software. In 1997 we took the decision to re-write our software for the Windows Environment using Borland Delphi. The first Windows module for Payroll was installed that Year. The Personnel and Time & Attendance Modules followed shortly after.

In 1998 Carval Computing Limited became the first IT Company based in the South West to achieve the prestigious Investors in People Award and we moved from our original offices at Enterprise Park in Stoke in Plymouth to our current surroundings in the modern Tamar Science Park Complex. We remain immensely proud of our South West heritage and are committed to retaining a presence there. Carval have continued to achieve re-recognition of the Investors in People Standard every year since. This has been awarded in recognition of the company's commitment to quality training and staff development in the fast moving Information Technology sector. This ongoing commitment to the development of both our people and our software has seen Carval grow to become a respected and well-established brand with a rapidly growing client-base throughout the UK.

In 2002 Carval Computing Limited acquired its second UK office at the prestigious Wrest Park in Silsoe, Bedfordshire. The Wrest Park Office is the Support and Training Centre for the Carval HR Unity system and is manned by a dedicated team who speak with clients across the UK. Modern technology and dial in facilities are also utilised by the support team to ensure a rapid response to client queries.
