  • personal details
  • skills
  • next of kin
  • equal opportunity details
  • bank details
  • absence summary
  • contractual details
  • post and grade

  • absences
  • appraisals, competencies, and objectives
  • disciplinary, grievance, and capability records
  • leavers and reinstatement
  • company benefits
  • business travel

Company HR Profiles

A look at the HR profiling available in Unistaff:

  • Gender, Ethnicity, and Disability
  • Turnover
  • Salary

How to use other utilities available in Unistaff:

  • Global Updates enables users to make changes to specific data across all their employees although they do have the ability to filter the update to apply to only a specific set of employees, e.g. at a certain location or in a certain department.
  • the Event Diary utility enables users to manage key dates in the database.  They are then able to flag reminders for each date to come on email or calendars.
  • the Questionnaire Manager enables users to create and distribute surveys and questionnaires to all or a group of employees (requires Self Service)

Custom Screens

Where the system does not enable users to input data they wish to hold in the database, they can create their own screens for this purpose.  Using a screen wizard, users will learn how to build their own screens within the Carval system.

Standard Reports, Charts, and Graphs

A guide through some of the standard reports and graphs that are available within the system.

After each section those on the course will be given a practical exercise to complete to gain some hands-on experience of the topic just covered.

Candidates will also receive a Unistaff workbook which can be used as a reference when they return to their place of work and start to use their ‘live’ system.
