Training and development

Unistaff HR Software comes equipped with a comprehensive Training and Development Module at no additional cost. This includes everything you need to identify your employees’ training needs, deal with training requests from your staff and includes practical tools to help manage the administration of training courses and training budgets. Once courses have been completed, our HR Software will record the new skills obtained. Meanwhile, when the validity of a qualification (e.g. First Aid) is about to run out, the system will issue timely alerts.

Identifying training needs

Unistaff will help you to identify the training needs for an employee and so ensure that the training courses attended are relevant to their role. Unistaff not only records skills, but can attribute a level of competency or grading that should be achieved, inline with the training plan attached to an employee’s post.

CPD

CPD units can be recorded and automatically allocated post course.

Keeping training up to date

Where a  training course has a limited period of validity and attendees are required to attend a refresher course every two years or so, e.g. a First Aid course, this can be recorded. Reminders can then be set-up using Carval’s Event Diary Manager to ensure that employees are retrained at the relevant time.

Post-course evaluation

Questionnaires can be set-up for post-course evaluation and where Unity Online Self Service is used, employees can complete these online.
