Carval’s Unitend T&A Software makes workforce planning simple. It has been designed to cater for a wide variety of shift patterns across multiple companies, including Regular, Rotating and Continental patterns. Daily shift patterns are used to create a number of Weekly Shift Patterns and these in turn to build virtually limitless Annual Rotas. Employees are assigned to one of these Annual Rotas and the system automatically recognises the pattern of their working hours.  Supervisors can, of course, intervene and make temporary or permanent changes according to operational demand.
